在州政府的網站上,有一個大幅改造Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink Station 周邊的開發計劃 --- Empire Yards。左圖就是這個計劃的未來示意圖,從這個地方的住家,走路就能直接到達Metrolink的月台。從圖上旁邊的解說文字,可以看到:計劃興建 34戶Townhouse、88戶老人公寓、104戶Studio、兩區公寓,111+95戶。如果計劃實現,似乎在未來,這裏會是住家/商店密集熱鬧的地方。

Empire Yards的描述文字是這麽寫的:
A redevelopment of the Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink station into a transit-oriented village consisting of for-sale and for-rent residences, an intergenerational senior living facility and preschool, a "main street" with restaurants, small retail, a Laemmle Arthouse Cinema and a gourmet grocery market. A new, shared parking garage will serve commuters, providing an easy park and ride option.

緊鄰這個計劃的旁邊,還有一個 Lewis 在2015-16年提交給RC市政府的 Empire Lakes 開發案,根據2016年,當時 Lewis買下這塊高爾夫球場的地時的新聞,他們計劃蓋 3,450 residential units。
